Trust Axiata Digital Limited has launched its mobile phone-based financial services. The new company is jointly formed by Trust Bank and Axiata Digital Services (ADS). Launched a new mobile financial service called ‘Trust Axiata Pay’ or ‘TAP’.
The service was inaugurated by Trust Axiata Digital Limited Chairman and Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed at the Trust Bank’s head office on Wednesday afternoon.
In a press release, ISPR said that customers can register for the service only through ‘National Identity Card and Selfie’. All types of MFS financial transactions including the payment of utility bills, insurance installments, educational institution fees, recruitment fees of the three forces, acceptance of remittances, online merchant payment and mobile phone recharge services can be done using TAP.
Speaking at the inaugural function, the Army Chief said that using MFS technology, Trust Bank Limited, a company of Army Welfare Trust, and Axiata Digital Services will jointly launch the Trust Axiata Pay or TAP service to enhance the quality of customer service.

I believe that with the help of Axiata Group, we will be able to go a long way in providing digital transactions to the people of Bangladesh. ”

We believe that this initiative of Bangladesh Army and Trust Bank Limited will be welcomed by people from all walks of life. Trust Axiata Digital Limited will become a symbol of confidence in mobile money transactions. ”
Major General Shakil Ahmed, Vice-Chairman, Army Welfare Trust, Brigadier General Abul Mansoor Md. Ashraf Khan, Managing Director, and Anthony Sheyantha Abekun, Chief Financial Officer, Axiata Digital Services were Also present at the inaugural function.
